Bank of Maharashtra Bank Statement: Mahaconnect and More
Quick Answer: For a Bank of Maharashtra bank statement, log in to Mahaconnect internet banking at mahaconnect.bank.in and use Statement of Account under Enquiry. To receive statements by email, register with your branch for Maha e-Statement. For a quick look at recent transactions, send "Hi" to the bank's WhatsApp number 70660 36640 and choose Get Mini Statement. Businesses needing audit confirmations use the separate Digital Balance Confirmation Portal.
Bank of Maharashtra provides account statements through Mahaconnect, its internet banking service, where Statement of Account sits under Enquiry next to Mini Statement. Email statements, called Maha e-Statement, are set up through your branch. WhatsApp banking on 70660 36640 gives a mini statement, and non-individual customers get audit balance certificates from a separate digital portal.

Where does a Bank of Maharashtra statement come from?
The bank's public pages, read on 26 October 2026, describe four routes, each suited to a different need:
| Need | Route | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Full statement for a period | Mahaconnect internet banking โ Enquiry โ Statement of Account | Requires internet banking registration |
| Monthly statements without logging in | Maha e-Statement, statement on email | Register at your branch |
| A quick look at recent transactions | WhatsApp banking, 70660 36640 โ Get Mini Statement | From your registered mobile |
| Balance confirmation for an auditor | Digital Balance Confirmation Portal (DBCP) | Non-individual accounts; quarter-end dates; paid |
A mini statement on WhatsApp is not a substitute for a statement of account. If a lender, visa office or chartered accountant has asked for "the bank statement", they mean the Statement of Account from internet banking or a statement printed by your branch.
How do you download a statement in Mahaconnect?
Bank of Maharashtra's Internet Banking page (read on 26 October 2026) lists the facilities Mahaconnect offers. Under Enquiry it names three: Balances Enquiry, Mini Statement and Statement of Account. The page doesn't give click-by-click steps for the statement screen, so log in, open Enquiry, choose Statement of Account, select the account and the period, and follow the prompts to view or download.
The same page lists what else sits beside it, some of which people mistake for statements: cheque status inquiry, stop payment, demand draft and cheque book requests, deposit account opening, and deposit and loan "modelling" tools. None of those produce a transaction history.
If you don't have internet banking yet
The bank gives two ways to register:
- Online: visit mahaconnect.bank.in, choose the retail option, click New User and follow the steps. You need an active account, an active debit card, and an email address and mobile number linked to the account.
- Through the branch: download the internet banking application form from the bank's website, or collect one at the branch, and submit it. Once processed, you receive a user ID, a login password and a transaction password.
For the branch route, the bank's internet banking FAQ notes that your name and address on the application must match its records; if your address has changed, it's updated under KYC norms first. Joint accounts and partnerships need every holder's or partner's signature.
MahaSecure
The bank also offers MahaSecure, an app it describes as a secure digital banking app for desktops, laptops, phones and tablets. If you've opted into MahaSecure, the bank says you must set it up on your own device to use internet banking. If your statement screen won't open because of a MahaSecure prompt, that setup is the likely reason. The MahaSecure helpdesk is on 1800 233 4526 or 1800 102 2636, or mahasecure@bankofmaharashtra.bank.in.
How do you get Bank of Maharashtra statements by email?
The Mahaconnect login page carries a short notice: "Register with your branch for MAHA e-Statement (Statement on email)". That's the extent of the public documentation we found on 26 October 2026; it doesn't state how often e-statements are sent, which accounts qualify, or whether the PDF is password protected.
So, practically:
- Ask at your branch to register, and confirm the email address the bank holds for you.
- Ask how often the statement will be sent and whether the PDF will have a password, and if so, what it is made of.
- Keep the first email. If the PDF is locked and the instructions are in the email body, you'll need them again.
We won't guess at a password format. Indian banks differ, and a wrong guess wastes time.
WhatsApp mini statement on 70660 36640
Bank of Maharashtra's WhatsApp Banking page (read on 26 October 2026) explains how it works:
- Save 70660 36640 in your phone's contacts as Bank of Maharashtra.
- Send a message such as "Hi" from your registered mobile number.
- The bank identifies your relationship from the number and shows its terms and conditions; confirm to accept them.
- A menu appears. Choose Get Mini Statement.
The service is free and runs around the clock. The bank lists the other options as account balance, customer ID, nearby ATMs and branches, cheque book request and status, opt-in/opt-out and contact details. Non-customers can use it to open an account or find a branch. WhatsApp doesn't offer a full statement of account there; for that, go back to Mahaconnect or the branch.
What is the Digital Balance Confirmation Portal?
Companies, LLPs, firms, trusts and proprietorships often need a bank-issued balance confirmation for their statutory audit rather than a statement. Bank of Maharashtra's Digital Balance Confirmation Portal page (read on 26 October 2026) describes a service run with PSB Alliance:
- It's for non-individual account holders.
- The auditee (the customer) registers once on digitalbalanceconfirmation.com, links each bank, and assigns auditors for a period. Registration needs an Aadhaar-linked mobile or a digital signature certificate; bank linkage uses an OTP to the mobile or email registered with the bank.
- An auditor, or the customer for its own use, requests a balance certificate. Certificates are for quarter-end dates only, and each bank needs a separate request.
- The customer gives consent online and pays for each certificate; the system issues a tax invoice.
- The certificate is digitally signed, on the bank's letterhead, in the template approved by ICAI and IBA.
The bank says all balance confirmation requests must go through that portal. If your auditor asks for a "bank certificate" as at 31 March, this is the route; a statement of account won't do.

For anything older than internet banking shows, or for a stamped printed statement, visit your branch.
Converting the statement to Excel
Once you have the statement as a PDF, you can extract the transactions with Excel's Get Data from PDF, or with a converter. QuickBankConvert reads statement PDFs into one row per transaction with date, description, category, signed amount and balance where printed, and it accepts password-protected PDFs by asking for the password on upload. It reads statements from Indian banks as well as others, but we haven't specifically tested Bank of Maharashtra's layout, so check the closing balance. See pricing for plan limits, PDF to Excel for the output, and our password-protected PDF guide if the file is locked.
