First Horizon Bank Statement: Download, History and Copies
Quick Answer: First Horizon calls its e-statements Statements Online. Once enrolled in Digital Banking, choose Accounts/Statements to pick the accounts, and each month's statement appears in Digital and Mobile Banking as a downloadable PDF, with an email when it is ready. You can see up to 24 months. For anything older, use the Request Copy of Statement form, a branch, or customer service at 800-382-5465.
A First Horizon bank statement is a monthly PDF in Digital Banking if you use Statements Online, or a paper statement if you do not. First Horizon keeps 24 months online, puts tax forms in the same place, and offers a Quicken connection. Statements from before you enrolled, or older than two years, are requested by form, phone or branch.

Setting up Statements Online
First Horizon's Alerts and Statements Online page (read on 26 October 2026) describes the service as free and says current Digital Banking customers turn it on by selecting Accounts/Statements and choosing which accounts should receive Statements Online. You need to be enrolled in Digital Banking first; the Digital Banking FAQ confirms that eStatements require it.
A few rules from that FAQ catch people out:
- Canceled checks block enrollment. If your statement currently comes with your canceled checks, you must switch to Image Statements before you can enroll in eStatements. First Horizon says to send a secure message in Digital Banking, email, or call 866-264-5322 to make the switch.
- Paper may continue for one more cycle while the account is converted. After that, paper stops.
- It is one or the other. You cannot receive both eStatements and paper statements, though First Horizon notes you still have the right to request a paper copy of a monthly statement.
- The format is PDF. First Horizon says to have Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the downloads.
What do the different First Horizon statement types mean?
First Horizon's general banking FAQ distinguishes two paper formats, which explains why statements from different years can look different:
| Statement type | What comes with it | Layout of check images |
|---|---|---|
| Conventional statement | Front and back Image Replacement Documents (IRDs) of canceled checks | Three to a page on perforated paper |
| Image statement | Front images of canceled checks | Ten to a page |
| Statements Online | The statement as a PDF in Digital Banking | Available only after moving to image statements |
If you are gathering statements for a lender, the check images are usually irrelevant; the transaction pages and the summary box are what they read.
How far back can you download First Horizon statements?
The answer is 24 months. First Horizon's statements page says you can review your current statement or view statements up to 24 months in the past, and the FAQ adds that after you enroll, statements accumulate in the system and remain available for 24 months.
Two consequences follow:
- Statements only build up from enrollment. If you enrolled six months ago, you will see six months online, not two years. Earlier months must be requested.
- Month 25 disappears. If you keep records for tax or business purposes, download each PDF when it arrives rather than relying on the archive. A folder per year with files named by month is enough.
Requesting older statements and check copies
First Horizon's general banking FAQ (read on 26 October 2026) lists three ways to get a statement copy: submit the Request Copy of Statement form, visit a branch, or call customer service at 800-382-5465. If you are enrolled in Statements Online and the statement was issued after you enrolled, you can simply log in and print it.
Check copies follow a time-based rule. For retail customers there is no charge for copies of checks that posted in the last three months; for checks that posted four or more months ago, First Horizon lists $10.00 per hour for research and $1.00 per copy.
For a general approach to requesting several years at once, see how to get old bank statements.
Using a statement as proof of address or account number
Statements are often requested for what is printed at the top rather than the transactions. Two First Horizon details help here:
- Address. If the address on your statements is out of date, First Horizon's FAQ says to call customer service at 800-382-5465, visit a branch, or change it in Digital Banking under Other services, then Self service forms. Do it before the next cycle closes, because a statement shows the address on file when it was produced; changing it later does not alter statements already issued.
- Account number. The Digital Banking FAQ says the full number for checking, savings, CD, IRA and loan accounts is shown under Manage my Account after you click the account. For credit card and HELOC accounts, First Horizon says the account number is on your statements, so the PDF is the place to look.
If an office asks for a "recent" statement as proof of address, check how recent it must be (many ask for one dated within the last few months) and send the latest closed cycle.
Tax forms sit next to your statements
The same Statements Online page says enrolled customers can receive yearly tax forms in Digital and Mobile Banking: 1099-INT, 1099-OID, 1099-A, 1099-B, 1099-C, 1099-R, 1098 and 5498, with an email when each is ready. That is convenient at tax time, but remember that a 1099-INT summarises interest for the year; it is not a statement and does not list transactions.
Exporting transactions: Quicken and the budgeting tools
First Horizon offers Digital Banking with Quicken, described on its Quicken page as free and supported on current versions of Quicken for Windows and Mac. You enroll with the Digital Banking Enrollment Form, and First Horizon refers you to Quicken's own help for setup because the steps differ by version.
Digital Banking also has built-in money management: it categorises transactions automatically, lets you split a transaction across categories, and builds a starting budget from your past three months of activity. If what you want is a spending breakdown, that may answer the question without exporting anything.
What we did not find on First Horizon's public pages is a documented CSV or Excel download of transactions. If you need a spreadsheet, the dependable source is the statement PDF.
Converting a First Horizon PDF
To get statement transactions into rows, upload the PDF to QuickBankConvert. You get date, description, category and signed amount for each transaction, plus the balance when the statement prints one, and the account number, period and opening and closing balances shown above the preview so you can check them. A free account downloads Excel or CSV; QFX for Quicken, and QBO for QuickBooks, are on paid plans (see pricing), which can help with months older than a Quicken connection will download.
The file is uploaded and stored on our servers; ask for deletion via the contact page. Older paper statements that you scan yourself are read less accurately than PDFs from Digital Banking, so for anything within the 24-month window, download the original.
