Revolut Bank Statement: Download a PDF or Excel Copy
Quick Answer: In the Revolut app, go to Home, tap Accounts below your balance, pick the currency, tap More (...) and choose Statement. Select a timeframe, choose PDF or Excel, and tap Generate. Each currency account has its own statement, and Revolut issues them electronically only: no paper copies and, for personal accounts, no stamps.
A Revolut bank statement is a document you generate yourself, one currency account at a time, from the Revolut app. You pick the dates and the file type (PDF for sending to someone, Excel for your own spreadsheet), and the statement lists your name and address, IBAN and BIC, a balance summary, and every pending, completed and reverted transaction in that window.
The steps below come from Revolut's own help centre, read on 26 October 2026. Revolut changes its app often, so if a label on your screen differs, the help page linked in each section is the place to check.

How do you download a Revolut statement in the app?
Revolut's help article Download an account statement for a specific currency gives this sequence for personal accounts:
- Go to Home on the bottom menu.
- Below your balance, tap Accounts and select the currency you want (GBP, EUR, USD and so on).
- Tap More (...) and select Statement.
- Select the timeframe, choose a document type (PDF or Excel), and tap Generate.
That is the whole flow. Two things catch people out. First, the statement belongs to a single currency account, so a traveller who held euros, dollars and pounds during a trip needs three statements to show everything. Second, the file type matters later: the PDF is what a consulate, landlord or lender expects, while the Excel file is the one you want if you plan to sort, filter or total anything yourself.
What does a Revolut personal statement show?
According to the same help page, a currency account statement contains:
- Account holder details: your name and address
- Local and international account details: BIC and IBAN
- A balance summary
- Pending, completed and reverted transactions
- Personal and Group Pocket transactions
The inclusion of Pockets is worth noticing. If you move money into a savings Pocket or share a Group Pocket with flatmates, those movements are on the statement too, which can make a month look busier than your spending really was. When you hand the statement to someone reviewing your finances, a line saying "transfer to Pocket" is just you moving money between your own balances, not a payment to a third party.
Revolut also states plainly that it doesn't issue hard-copy documents or put stamps on requested documents for personal customers. Everything is generated electronically. If an embassy or bank insists on a stamped original, that requirement can't be met from a personal Revolut account, and you should ask whether a downloaded PDF is acceptable before you book an appointment.
Why doesn't the statement balance match the app?
This is one of the most common Revolut questions, and the company answers it in a separate help article, Why are my statement balance and in-app balance different?. The short version: the statement reflects the closing balance, meaning your available funds plus pending transactions, while the app shows available funds only. Pending transactions sit at the top of the statement.
So if you paid for a hotel yesterday and the card payment is still pending, the app balance has already dropped but the statement's closing figure treats that payment differently. Neither number is wrong; they measure different things. If you're submitting the statement as evidence of funds, generate it after pending card payments have settled, or be ready to explain the gap.
How is a Revolut Business statement different?
Revolut Business has its own help centre and a noticeably richer set of documents. On the business side, every statement starts from the same place: go to Home on the main menu, click the three dots '...' and select Statements. From there you choose one of several document types, each described on Revolut's business help pages:
| Document | What it contains | File types offered |
|---|---|---|
| Account statement | Company name, registered address, account details, opening and closing balance, transactions for one currency account | PDF, CSV, XML (Camt.053), TXT (MT940) |
| Transaction statement | Transactions filtered by accounts, cards, currencies and more | PDF, CSV |
| Account confirmation | Company name, registration number, addresses, account open date, account details | Not listed; signed and stamped option offered |
A few business-only details from the account statements help page:
- You can choose a signed and stamped document, available for PDF only. This is the main difference from personal accounts.
- You can't pick a start date before the date the account was opened.
- Statements use UTC times by default. Setting a local time in Appearance settings adds local times to future CSV downloads.
- Team members need permission to manage accounts. If the Statements option isn't there, ask the account Owner or Admin to grant access.
- Documents come out in whatever language the app is set to, so switch the language first if the recipient needs English.
The transaction statement is the one to use when an accountant wants, say, only the spending on one employee card for a quarter. The account confirmation is the one to use when a supplier or marketplace just needs proof that the account exists and belongs to your company; it carries no transactions.
Which Revolut document should you send for a visa?
Visa applications usually ask for recent bank statements showing your name, the account details and enough money over a set period. A personal Revolut PDF statement covers the name, address, IBAN and transaction history. What it won't have is a stamp, so check the consulate's document list. Some accept electronically generated statements, others want a bank letter or a stamped page. Our guide to bank statements for visa applications goes through the common requirements.
Practical tips for a visa submission:
- Generate the statement for exactly the period requested, often the last three or six months, rather than a year of noise.
- If you hold savings in another currency account, download that statement too. A reviewer only sees the currency you send.
- Wait until large card payments have settled so the closing balance isn't skewed by pending items.
- Keep the PDF as downloaded. Editing or re-saving it through another program can strip the details that make it look genuine.
Getting a Revolut statement into a spreadsheet
For personal accounts, the Excel option on the statement screen is the obvious first choice: it is Revolut's own export and needs no conversion. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets, check that the amounts came through as numbers, and you're done.
There are cases where you only have the PDF: an old statement someone emailed you, a file you saved for a visa and now need to total up, or a combined pack of statements from several currencies. That's where QuickBankConvert fits. You upload the Revolut PDF over HTTPS, it's parsed on our servers, and you get one row per transaction with date, description, amount and running balance where the statement prints one. Without an account you see an on-screen preview; a free account adds CSV and Excel downloads. If you need to read multi-currency PDFs side by side, our article on converting international bank statements covers keeping each currency in its own column, and the Revolut-specific conversion guide goes into the layout in more detail.
Older statements and closed accounts
The personal help page doesn't state a maximum lookback, and the timeframe picker is the authority: if you can select the dates, you can generate the statement. For business accounts, Revolut has a separate help article on accessing transaction history after an account is closed, which is worth reading before you close one. Downloading a full set of statements while the account is still open saves a support conversation later.
If you need a document Revolut's screens don't produce, the help centre directs you to the in-app chat.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get a stamped Revolut statement?
Revolut's personal help page says it does not provide stamps on requested documents, because statements are generated electronically. Revolut Business is different: its account statement and account confirmation screens offer a signed and stamped option.
Does a Revolut statement show my card number?
The personal currency statement lists your name, address, IBAN and BIC, a balance summary and transactions. Revolut's help page does not list the card number among its contents, so if someone asks for a card-linked document, ask them exactly which proof they need.
Why does my Revolut statement balance differ from the app?
Revolut explains that the statement shows a closing balance that includes pending transactions, while the app shows only the funds available to spend. Pending items appear at the top of the statement.
Can I export Revolut transactions to CSV?
In the personal app the statement screen offers PDF or Excel. Revolut Business adds CSV, CAMT.053 XML and MT940 TXT for account statements, and PDF or CSV for transaction statements.
Will Revolut post me a paper statement?
No. Revolut's help centre says it does not issue hard-copy documents; every statement and confirmation is generated electronically for you to download or share.
