Payoneer Bank Statement for Amazon and Your Records

6 min readOctober 26, 2026

Quick Answer: Sign in to Payoneer and go to Manage > Reports and statements. For Amazon, choose Account statement for Amazon, select the receiving account currency and the receiving account, enter the statement details and click Download. That PDF is what Amazon Seller Central asks for when you add Payoneer as your deposit method.

Most people searching for a Payoneer bank statement are Amazon sellers stuck on one screen in Seller Central, the one asking for proof of the bank account Amazon will pay into. Payoneer is not a traditional bank, but it issues receiving accounts with local bank details and a downloadable account statement that confirms who holds them. Getting that document right the first time saves days of back-and-forth.

This guide follows Payoneer's own article, How to get a bank statement for your Amazon store, read on 26 October 2026 (Payoneer dated it 31 August 2026). The account area changes from time to time; if your menu differs, Payoneer's support centre has the current labels.

Before you download: connect the store

Payoneer's guide puts one step before the statement itself. You connect your Amazon store to Payoneer through Store Manager by clicking Add Store, and Payoneer asks you to make sure the account statement details match the details posted in Amazon Seller Central.

That matching requirement is the whole game. Amazon compares the statement against what you typed. A trading name on one and a legal name on the other, or an account number with a transposed digit, is enough to fail the check.

How do you download the Payoneer statement for Amazon?

The steps from Payoneer's article, in order:

  1. Sign in to Payoneer.
  2. Go to Manage > Reports and statements.
  3. Choose Account statement for Amazon.
  4. Select the receiving account currency and the receiving account.
  5. Enter your account statement details and click Download.
  6. Provide the downloaded report to Amazon.

If you sell in several Amazon marketplaces and receive in more than one currency, repeat the process per receiving account. A statement for your USD receiving account won't satisfy a marketplace that pays you in euros or pounds.

What does Amazon need to see on it?

For local receiving accounts, Payoneer lists the details Amazon needs:

  • The account holder's name
  • The bank name and address
  • The account number

Before you upload, put the downloaded statement next to the Seller Central form and check each one character by character. A short checklist that catches most rejections:

CheckWhat to compareTypical mistake
Holder nameStatement vs. the name on your seller accountBrand name used instead of the registered business name
Account numberStatement vs. the number you typedLeading zero dropped, digits swapped
Bank nameStatement vs. the bank chosen in the formEntering a bank name that differs from the one printed on the statement
CurrencyReceiving account vs. the marketplace's payout currencyUploading the USD statement for a EUR marketplace

Payoneer frames this statement as the document that lets you avoid opening a local bank account in each selling country. Amazon's own verification team still has the final word, so if a statement is rejected, read Amazon's rejection reason before generating a new one; regenerating the same mismatched details won't help.

Statements for your own records

The Amazon document confirms who owns the account. It isn't the same as a full history of what moved through it. For bookkeeping you want the transaction detail: marketplace payouts in, transfers to your bank out, card spending, and Payoneer's fees.

The Reports and statements menu is the natural place to start for those records as well. The exact list of report types depends on your account and region, so open it and check what's offered for the period you need. When you have a choice, take the spreadsheet version for your own analysis and the PDF for anything you have to submit.

Why the records matter: the IRS's Publication 583 lists account statements among the supporting documents that can show what a business spent, alongside cancelled checks, credit card slips and invoices. A Payoneer statement for each month, filed with your marketplace settlement reports, gives you both sides: Amazon's report says what it paid, Payoneer's record shows what arrived and what was deducted on the way.

Is a Payoneer statement the same as a bank statement?

Functionally, for Amazon's purposes, it plays that role: it shows a named holder, bank details and an account number Amazon can send money to. For other uses it depends on who's asking. A landlord or visa officer asking for "bank statements" usually wants a history of balances and transactions from a regulated bank, and a Payoneer receiving-account confirmation may not be what they have in mind. Ask the requester whether they'll accept a payment-provider statement, and if they want months of history, send the transaction records rather than the Amazon confirmation.

Three practical differences to keep in mind:

  • Several currencies, several accounts. Each receiving account has its own details, so one person can have a USD, EUR and GBP statement, each valid only for its currency.
  • Fees can change the figure that lands. When you reconcile, a payout of 1,000 that arrives as a smaller amount is worth checking against Payoneer's fee lines before you assume a payment is missing.
  • The money often moves on quickly. Many sellers withdraw to a home-country bank soon after a payout, so the Payoneer record shows the payout and the withdrawal close together, and the home bank statement shows the arrival.

A monthly filing routine for Payoneer records

Sellers who leave Payoneer records until tax season usually end up downloading a year of files in one sitting and then trying to remember what each withdrawal was for. A short routine at each month end avoids that:

  1. Download the month's records for every receiving account you used, and save them in one folder per year, named with currency and month.
  2. Save the marketplace settlement reports for the same month alongside them.
  3. Match each payout on the settlement report to a credit on the Payoneer record. Note any gap next to the line, rather than fixing it later from memory.
  4. Match each withdrawal to the arrival on your home bank statement, writing down the exchange rate if the currency changed.
  5. Keep the Amazon account statement PDF in the same folder whenever you regenerate it, so you can show which details were on file at the time.

Twenty minutes a month is far easier than a lost weekend at tax time, and it leaves your accountant with a folder they can follow without phoning you.

Turning a Payoneer PDF into spreadsheet rows

If Payoneer gives you a spreadsheet download for the report you need, use it; it's the source data. When you have only PDFs, for instance a year of monthly statements saved for an audit, or files a client sent over, you can convert them. QuickBankConvert takes the Payoneer PDF and produces a table with a row for each transaction: date, description, amount (money out shown as a negative number) and the balance when the statement prints one. Free accounts download CSV or Excel; QuickBooks, Quicken and Xero formats are on paid plans, listed on the pricing page. If the PDF is password-protected, you'll be asked for the password when you upload; our guide to password-protected statement PDFs explains what to expect. For layout tips when the rows land in a spreadsheet, see PDF to Excel.

Sellers juggling several currencies should keep each receiving account in its own sheet or column and convert only at the end, using the rates on the withdrawal lines. Our article on multi-currency statements works through that setup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the account statement in Payoneer?

Payoneer's guide for Amazon sellers says to sign in, open Manage and choose Reports and statements. The Amazon-specific document is listed there as Account statement for Amazon.

Why does Amazon reject my Payoneer statement?

The most common cause is a mismatch between the details on the statement and the ones typed into Seller Central, such as a different account holder name or a missing digit in the account number. Payoneer asks you to match the statement details with what is posted in Seller Central.

Do I need a separate local bank account to sell on Amazon with Payoneer?

Payoneer says its statement for Amazon lets you avoid opening a local bank account, because the receiving account details serve as the deposit account Amazon pays into. Amazon's own rules for your marketplace still decide what it accepts.

Can I convert a Payoneer statement to Excel?

If the statement is a PDF with a transaction table, a converter such as QuickBankConvert can turn it into CSV or Excel rows. Check first whether Payoneer's own reports screen offers a spreadsheet download for the period you need.
