Woodforest Bank Statement: eStatements, PDF and Downloads

6 min readOctober 26, 2026

Quick Answer: Woodforest National Bank puts statements in Woodforest Online Services as eStatements. Log in, open the account, and view or download the PDF; to switch from paper, go to the Service Center and choose Manage eStatements. For transaction files rather than PDFs, use Download Transactions under I Would Like To, which Woodforest documents for Quicken (.QFX) and QuickBooks (.QBO).

A Woodforest bank statement is a PDF that you view and download in Woodforest Online Services once you are enrolled in eStatements. Woodforest emails you when each one is ready. Paper statements still exist but carry a monthly fee on most accounts, and a separate download tool gives you transactions as Quicken or QuickBooks files for a date range you choose.

Three things Woodforest calls a "statement"

Woodforest customers run into the word in three places, and they are not interchangeable. Knowing which one you need saves a trip to a branch.

What it isWhere it comes fromFormatGood for
eStatementWoodforest Online Services, after enrollingPDFProof of income or residence, tax files, anything that asks for "a bank statement"
Paper statementMailed, monthly or quarterly depending on the accountPaperPeople without reliable internet access; carries a fee on most accounts
Transaction downloadDownload Transactions in Online Services.QFX (Quicken) or .QBO (QuickBooks)Loading activity into personal-finance or accounting software

There is also a fourth, informal one. Woodforest's online banking page says that if you give an email address at account opening you can automatically receive a daily statement of transaction activity and balances by email. That is handy for watching an account, but a landlord or lender asking for a statement wants the monthly PDF, not a daily email.

How do you download a Woodforest eStatement?

Woodforest's Online & Mobile Banking page (read on 26 October 2026) describes the eStatement flow this way:

  1. Enroll in Woodforest Online Services. New customers have to wait until the day after the account is opened before enrolling, according to Woodforest's FAQ.
  2. Log in, go to the Service Center, and select Manage eStatements to sign up.
  3. When a statement is ready, Woodforest sends an email to the address you chose.
  4. Log in to Online Services, pick the account, and view or download the eStatement.

The same page says the mobile app lets you view balances, transactions and eStatements, so a phone works for a quick look. For saving a year of PDFs, a computer is easier: each file lands in your Downloads folder and you can rename it with the month straight away (for example woodforest-checking-2026-09.pdf).

Woodforest also notes that your full account number appears near the top of both paper statements and eStatements, which is useful when a form asks for the full number rather than the last four digits shown in the app.

Is there a CSV or Excel export?

Not one that Woodforest documents. What it does document, on its Quicken/QuickBooks page (read on 26 October 2026), is a transaction download in Intuit formats:

  1. In Online Services, click Download Transactions under I Would Like To in the left menu.
  2. Select the date range.
  3. Choose Intuit Quicken (.QFX) or Intuit QuickBooks (.QBO) from the Format drop-down.
  4. Click Download Transactions, save the file, then open it with Quicken or QuickBooks closed first.

Two limits are worth knowing before you plan a workflow around this. Woodforest says Express Web Connect is not available, so Quicken cannot pull new activity on its own; you repeat the download each time. And the page describes the result as "recent account history", without saying how far back the date range can go. If you need older months, the statement PDFs are the dependable record.

If you want a spreadsheet rather than a Quicken file, you have two routes. You can open a .QFX in a text editor and see that it is structured text, but turning it into tidy rows by hand is fiddly. The more practical route is to convert the eStatement PDF itself, which also gives you the opening and closing balance for the period.

What does a paper statement cost at Woodforest?

Woodforest's 2025 schedule of fees, linked from its checking page, lists a Paper Statement Fee of $3.00, charged monthly or quarterly depending on the product. A footnote sets it at $2.00 for the WBank Account. The same schedule lists research at $25.00 per hour with a one-hour minimum and photocopies at $1.00 per page.

So the cheapest way to keep statements is to enroll in eStatements and download each PDF yourself. That matters more than usual here: Woodforest's eStatement page frames paper mainly as something to file or shred, and the fee makes it a running cost.

How do you get older Woodforest statements?

Woodforest's public pages do not state how many months of eStatements stay available online. Practically:

  • Log in first. Whatever eStatements you were enrolled for should be listed under the account. Download all of them now; it costs nothing and protects you if you later close the account.
  • Ask the branch or send a secure message. Woodforest's FAQ repeatedly directs customers to their branch or to a Secure Message in the Online Banking Message Center for documents such as proof of payment. For statements older than what you can see online, expect the research and copy fees above to apply. Ask for a quote before you approve the request.
  • Plan for the time it takes. A research request is not instant, so if a mortgage underwriter or a benefits office has a deadline, ask for the old statements first and do the rest of the paperwork while you wait.

Turning the PDF into rows

Once you have the PDFs, the usual job is getting the transactions into a spreadsheet: a budget, a self-employment tax summary, or a list of deposits for an application. Options, from least to most effort:

  • Read it on screen. For a handful of transactions, the PDF is fine as it is.
  • Use the .QFX/.QBO download if your destination is Quicken or QuickBooks and the dates are recent.
  • Convert the PDF. Upload it to QuickBankConvert and you get one row per transaction with date, description, category and a signed amount (money out is negative), plus the running balance where the statement prints one. Without an account you see a preview; a free account downloads CSV or Excel for three statements a month. Current limits are on the pricing page.

Whatever you use, check the result against the PDF: the number of transactions, the first and last rows, and the closing balance. Woodforest statements that have been printed and re-scanned are images, and images convert less accurately than the PDF downloaded from Online Services, so always start from the original download.

A note on privacy: converting with QuickBankConvert means uploading the file, which is parsed on our servers and stored; you can ask for deletion through the contact page. You never share your Woodforest login.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are eStatements in Woodforest Online Services?

Enroll through the Service Center by selecting Manage eStatements. Once enrolled, Woodforest emails you when a statement is ready and you view or download it from the account in Online Services or the mobile app.

Does Woodforest charge for paper statements?

Yes. Its 2025 fee schedule lists a $3.00 paper statement fee, charged monthly or quarterly by product, and $2.00 on the WBank Account. eStatements avoid it.

Can I download Woodforest transactions to Excel?

Woodforest documents downloads in Quicken (.QFX) and QuickBooks (.QBO) formats only. For a spreadsheet, convert the eStatement PDF to CSV or Excel instead.

Why can't Quicken update my Woodforest account automatically?

Woodforest says Express Web Connect is not available. You download a .QFX file from Online Services and open it in Quicken each time.

How do I get a Woodforest statement from years ago?

Download what Online Services still shows, then contact your branch or send a secure message for older ones. The fee schedule lists research at $25 an hour and copies at $1 a page, so ask what it will cost first.
