myWisely Bank Statement: Getting Your Card History
Quick Answer: A Wisely card is an ADP prepaid card issued by Fifth Third Bank, not a bank account, so "myWisely bank statement" usually means your transaction history. Wisely says you can view that history and your balance without a fee in the myWisely app or at mywisely.com. For a formal written history, check your cardholder agreement in the app and ask Wisely Customer Service.
Your myWisely "bank statement" is really a prepaid card history. Wisely cards come from ADP, often through an employer's payroll, and are issued by Fifth Third Bank, N.A. Wisely's public help pages describe free access to your balance and transaction history in the myWisely app and on mywisely.com, but they do not describe a downloadable monthly statement, so plan around that before someone asks you for one.

What kind of account is Wisely?
The disclosure on mywisely.com (read on 26 October 2026) is direct about it: "The Wisely card is a prepaid card." The site adds that references to a digital account mean managing that prepaid card online or in the app, that it is not a credit card, and that it does not build credit. The cards are the Wisely Pay Visa, the Wisely Pay Mastercard and the Wisely Direct Mastercard, all issued by Fifth Third Bank, N.A., Member FDIC. Wisely's support pages also give a separate phone number for Wisely Cash members.
Why this matters for statements: banks and prepaid card providers are under slightly different federal rules about what they must send you.
- A checking account must get periodic statements under Regulation E.
- A prepaid account can skip periodic statements if the provider instead offers three things, set out in 12 CFR 1005.18(c)(1): your balance through a readily available telephone line, an electronic history covering at least the 12 months before you look, and a written history covering at least 24 months, sent promptly when you ask by phone or in writing.
Wisely's public pages do not say which approach it uses for your card. Your cardholder agreement does, and Wisely says you can see that agreement and the full fee list after logging in to the myWisely app or mywisely.com. Read the section on account information or statements there; it is the authoritative answer for your specific card.
How do you see your Wisely transaction history?
Wisely's help article on checking your balance and transaction history says there is no fee to do either, and that both are available when you log in to the myWisely app or mywisely.com. The same places let you find nearby ATMs, look at your spending, and set alerts, including a low-balance alert at a threshold you choose, delivered by email, push notification or text.
The help pages do not list menu names for the history screen, so we will not invent them. Once logged in, the transaction list is the screen to work from.
Two things in that list can confuse anyone reading it later:
- Pending deposits. Wisely has a set of help articles on pending and early direct deposits, including why a pending deposit can be removed or reversed. A pending line is not final; for anything you hand to a third party, use only posted transactions.
- Several income sources. Wisely notes you can load money from more than one source, including second jobs. If you are proving income, separate those deposits so each employer's pay is clear.
Who asks for a Wisely statement, and what to give them
| Who is asking | What usually works | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Landlord or property manager | Printed or saved transaction history covering the months they name | Ask whether a card history is acceptable; some specify a bank account |
| Lender or benefits office | A written account history from Wisely | Request it from customer service and allow time for it to arrive |
| Tax preparer | Deposit history for the year, plus your W-2 from payroll | The card history shows what arrived, not what you earned before deductions |
| You, for a budget | A spreadsheet of the transactions | See the conversion section below |
The pattern is the same in each case: the more formal the request, the more you want a document produced by Wisely rather than a screenshot. If you need one, contact Wisely Customer Service; the numbers Wisely publishes are 1-866-313-6901 for Wisely Pay, 1-866-313-9029 for Wisely Direct and 1-877-431-5860 for Wisely Cash. Ask specifically for a written history of your account transactions and say how many months you need.
Can you turn Wisely history into a spreadsheet?
Wisely does not describe a CSV or Excel export on its public help pages. Your realistic options are:
- Keep it in the app if you only need to glance at spending. Wisely's spending view covers that.
- Type it up if it is a handful of rows. For a month or two of card purchases this is often quickest.
- Convert a PDF if Wisely sends you a written history or statement as a PDF, or you save the history as a PDF from your browser. QuickBankConvert reads statement-style PDFs into rows of date, description, category and signed amount (spending is negative), with the balance when the document prints one. A free account downloads CSV or Excel; the pricing page lists what paid plans add.
Before converting, know the limits. A document that is a printout of a web page may not have a statement layout with an opening and closing balance, and the result can need more checking than a bank-generated statement would. Scans and phone photos are read less accurately than PDFs generated digitally. Compare the totals in the preview with the original before you download. Your file is uploaded over HTTPS, parsed on our servers, and a copy is stored; you can request deletion through the contact page.
Once you have rows, the PDF to Google Sheets guide shows how to build a simple budget from them.
What happens to your history if you change jobs or close the card?
Changing jobs does not end the card. Wisely says the card "can go with you, regardless of your employer", and you can keep loading it from other sources.
Closing is different. Wisely's article on cancelling says to call customer service at the number for your card type, and that the team will help you cancel and close for any reason. It does not say whether your history stays viewable afterwards. Before you close:
- Log in and save or print the transaction history for every month you might need, especially the current tax year.
- If you expect to need a formal record, request the written history while the account is still open.
- Move any direct deposit to your new account first, so no paycheck lands on a card you are closing.
If you have already closed it, call the same customer service number and ask what records they can still provide. Our guide to getting old bank statements covers how to make that request clearly, and the same advice applies to prepaid card providers.
