Lili Bank Statement: Find, Download and Share It
Quick Answer: Lili posts a monthly account statement inside the Lili app and on the Lili website, where you can open and save it. If an account has no transfers in a month, the statement can come quarterly instead. On the Smart and Premium plans, Lili's accounting tools also export reports as PDF or CSV, and you can give your accountant view-only access to the statements directly.
Lili is a financial technology company, not a bank: its business checking is provided by Sunrise Banks, N.A., Member FDIC, and that is the bank named in the account agreement. Your statement therefore lives in Lili's app and website rather than at a branch, and there is no teller to print one. Everything below comes from Lili's own published agreement and product pages.

Where does a Lili statement come from?
The Sunrise Banks Account Agreement that Lili publishes (section 6.3.2.3, "Periodic Statements", read on 26 October 2026) says:
You will get a monthly Account statement in App (unless there are no transfers in a particular month, in which case you will get the statement at least quarterly).
Elsewhere the same agreement refers to statements being "made available to you on the Lili website or in your App". In practice that gives you two places to look:
- The Lili app on your phone. Handy for checking a month quickly or sharing it from the phone.
- The Lili website on a computer. Sign in and find the statements area for the account. A computer is the easier place to save a year of PDFs into one folder.
Lili's help center did not load for us when we checked, so we have not reproduced its exact menu labels here. If you cannot find the statements screen, Lili's customer support page lists its contact options.
Does Lili send paper statements?
The agreement describes statements delivered in the app, and nothing in it describes mailed paper statements. Its electronic-disclosure section says paper copies of disclosures are obtained by printing them yourself from the app or website, and that you can withdraw your consent to electronic delivery by emailing Lili. Withdrawing that consent is a bigger step than switching a setting; read the section before doing it, because an app-based account is built around electronic delivery.
If someone needs a paper statement, the simplest route is to save the month's statement from the website and print it.
How do you give your accountant your Lili statements?
This is where Lili differs most from a traditional bank. Instead of emailing PDFs every month, an account owner can add an Authorized Viewer.
| What an Authorized Viewer can do | What they cannot do |
|---|---|
| Review, print, download and save statements | Move money into or out of the account |
| See transaction history and balances | Make transactions |
| See tax information and invoices | Change account settings |
| Categorize transactions for accounting and tax preparation | Keep access after you remove them or close the account |
Lili's separate Authorized Viewer terms describe this as view-only authorization for someone such as "your accountant, lawyer or financial advisor". Two cautions from those terms are worth repeating: the viewer sees your account number and mailing address, and access continues until you end it. Remove a bookkeeper's access when the engagement ends.
What can you export from Lili besides the statement?
Lili's accounting page answers the question "Can my accountant access my records?" with: you can "export your reports as PDF or CSV files, or grant your accountant read-only access to your transaction data." It also says these accounting, tax preparation and invoicing features are included in the Smart and Premium plans.
That gives you three different files to choose from, depending on the job:
- Monthly statement. The official record for the month. Use it for a lender, a landlord or anyone who wants the bank's own document.
- Accounting reports (PDF or CSV). Lili's categorized view of your activity. Use the CSV for your own spreadsheet or for a bookkeeper building the year-end figures.
- Read-only access. For an accountant who wants to pull what they need without asking you.
We did not find any Lili page offering QBO or QFX downloads for QuickBooks or Quicken, so do not plan around one. If your bookkeeper wants a QuickBooks file, check what the app offers on your plan before converting anything.
How do you turn Lili statement PDFs into a spreadsheet?
If you are on a plan without the accounting exports, or you saved statements as PDFs and the account is now closed, converting the PDFs is the way to get rows. Upload each month's statement to QuickBankConvert; it reads the date, description, amount and running balance into CSV or Excel. You never give it your Lili login: the PDF is uploaded, parsed on our servers, and a copy is stored, which you can ask us to remove through the contact page. A free account covers a few statements a month in CSV or Excel; QuickBooks, Quicken and Xero files are on the paid plans listed on the pricing page.
For a sole proprietor sorting a year of business spending, the workflow in tracking business expenses from bank statements picks up from there, and PDF to Excel explains what the output columns look like.
Why do Lili statements matter at tax time?
Lili's own site carries guides to Schedule C and Schedule SE, the forms a sole proprietor files, which tells you who many of its customers are. Your statement is the record behind those numbers. Keep the twelve statements for each tax year in one folder even if you also use Lili's categorized reports, because the statement is what you would show if a figure were ever questioned.
Which Lili file should you send, and to whom?
Different people asking for "your Lili statement" usually want different things:
- A mortgage lender or landlord generally wants the statements themselves, unedited, for the last two or three months. Send the files as Lili issued them; a CSV or a categorized report is not a substitute, because the reviewer is checking a document from the bank.
- Your tax preparer usually wants the year's totals by category plus the statements as backup. The CSV report on Smart or Premium saves them retyping; the statements let them check it.
- A bookkeeper catching up several months is best served by Authorized Viewer access, so they can pull each month without waiting on you.
- A partner or investor reviewing cash flow may only need month-end balances, and the statement is the document to read them from.
What to check on a Lili statement
- The 30-day window. The agreement says you must report an unauthorized or erroneous transfer within thirty days of the statement that shows it being made available in the app or on the website. Open each statement when it arrives, not at tax time.
- Fees. The agreement says applicable fees are deducted from the account and listed on your statement, with names matching its fee schedule, such as an out-of-network ATM fee. Those lines are deductible business costs for many owners, so label them rather than lumping them with transfers.
- Quarterly gaps. A month with no transfers may not have its own statement. That is expected under the agreement, not a missing file.
- Wires. Lili's site says wire transfers are provided by Column Bank N.A., so a wire may carry that bank's name in your records.
